How to Beat Godrick the Grafted

Phase-by-phase Godrick strategy with Nepheli Loux summon tips, axe combo punishes, and dragon-arm breath dodges.

Recommended Level

• Suggested level: 30–40
• Weapon upgrade: +4 to +8
• Clear Stormveil carefully for flask charges before the fog gate

Summons & Prep

• Summon Nepheli Loux outside the arena if her sign is available
• Bring a spirit ash for extra aggro split
• Stock Fire Grease or fire damage if your weapon supports it

Phase 1 Strategy

1. Stay near his back hip after axe swings to avoid the long reach.
2. Punish the ground slam recovery with two light attacks, then reset.
3. Let Nepheli or your ash take aggro when you need to heal.

Phase 2 Dragon Arm

When Godrick grafts the dragon head, watch for sweeping fire breath. Sprint around his flank, dodge the slam, and continue attacking the same openings as phase one. Do not stand in front during breath attacks.

Recommended Builds

Early strength weapons and starting class kits are enough. If you prefer status, begin shifting toward a bleed setup after Stormveil.
